This Saturday, I got up early and hit the road from Sacramento to do Kavanaugh Ridge - it should have been about a 4.5 hour drive to get to the trailhead, but with all the holiday traffic heading up to Lake Tahoe, it was slower than expected. Gorgeous views from 11k elevation ...
